    Honor Pad 20 Pro : une tablette face au PC portable

    Au 9 octobre 2026, la Honor Pad 20 Pro essaie de faire passer une grande tablette pour un petit ordinateur par le logiciel. Sa fiche associe un écran LCD de 12,1 pouces, une définition de 3000 x 1872 pixels, un Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 8 Go de RAM et une batterie de 10 100 mAh. Le châssis mesure 6,29 mm et la tablette pèse 537 g. Un tarif annoncé sous 500 euros rend la comparaison intéressante, à condition de compter le clavier.

    En apparence, le mode PC de MagicOS 10, basé sur Android 16, rapproche l’appareil d’un bureau. Les fenêtres se déplacent, la barre des tâches regroupe les applications ouvertes et le gestionnaire de fichiers adopte une organisation plus proche de celle d’un ordinateur. Le clavier Smart Bluetooth n’intègre toutefois pas de pavé tactile, et l’ensemble atteint environ 800 g.

    Le clavier ne suffit pas.

    Le mode PC habille Android en bureau

    Une fois la Pad 20 Pro posée sur son clavier, le mode PC remplace l’accueil classique par une interface de bureau. Les raccourcis clavier et la souris facilitent la navigation, tandis que les fenêtres redimensionnables permettent de rédiger un document, de consulter une page web et de garder une messagerie ouverte.

    Le support incline l’écran à environ 60 degrés et protège aussi la tablette. Ce montage convient surtout à une table. Il devient moins souple sur les genoux ou dans une utilisation à une main, d’autant que le clavier reste plus contraint qu’un modèle de portable et ne fournit pas de trackpad intégré.

    MagicOS 10 ajoute des fonctions d’intelligence artificielle pour la prise de notes, la transcription vocale et la traduction. Le Wi-Fi 7 et le Bluetooth 6 complètent la connectivité. Le logiciel élargit les usages, mais il ne transforme pas une application Android en logiciel de bureau complet.

    Le prix dépend du contenu du pack

    Le clavier Smart Bluetooth est un accessoire. Au 9 octobre 2026, un tarif annoncé sous 500 euros ne suffit donc pas à comparer la Pad 20 Pro avec un portable. Vérifiez les accessoires inclus dans l’offre consultée avant de calculer le coût de l’ensemble.

    Le 3K est utile, le 165 Hz l’est moins

    La dalle de 12,1 pouces affiche 3000 x 1872 pixels, soit environ 292 pixels par pouce. Cette définition facilite la lecture lorsque deux applications se partagent l’écran ou que plusieurs fenêtres restent ouvertes. Le taux de rafraîchissement propose cinq paliers : 60, 90, 120, 144 et 165 Hz.

    Le 165 Hz rend les défilements et les animations plus fluides, mais il ne change pas la nature des applications utilisées. Pour de la bureautique, de la navigation et de la vidéo, la définition 3K pèse davantage dans l’usage quotidien que le chiffre maximal de rafraîchissement.

    Honor annonce une luminosité maximale de 700 nits. La dalle reste un LCD, tandis qu’une version Paperlike mate vise la lecture, l’écriture et le dessin. Cette déclinaison n’est pas disponible sur tous les marchés.

    La partie multimédia s’appuie sur six haut-parleurs, une caméra frontale de 8 mégapixels et un capteur arrière de 13 mégapixels. La batterie de 10 100 mAh se recharge à 66 W. Honor annonce jusqu’à 12 heures de lecture vidéo, une durée qui dépendra de la luminosité, du réseau et des applications.

    Les usages réels rappellent que la fiche ne suffit pas

    À un bureau, la combinaison du mode PC et de l’écran 3K fonctionne pour la navigation, les documents et la messagerie. La tablette affiche alors une organisation plus lisible qu’en mode tactile. La souris devient presque obligatoire pour retrouver le confort d’un pointeur, puisque le clavier n’a pas de pavé tactile.

    Le transport rappelle la différence entre la tablette et le portable visé. Les 537 g de l’appareil seul restent mesurés pour une diagonale de 12,1 pouces, mais l’ensemble avec clavier approche 800 g. La consultation à la main, le travail sur une table et le rangement dans un sac ne produisent donc pas la même expérience.

    Pour les notes et le dessin, le Magic Pencil 4s et l’écran Paperlike peuvent compter davantage que le 165 Hz. Pour les jeux et la vidéo, les six haut-parleurs et la batterie prennent le relais. Chaque usage fait ressortir un élément différent de la fiche technique.

    La limite apparaît dès qu’il faut remplacer un portable sans adapter ses habitudes. Les fenêtres ne garantissent pas la même gestion des fichiers, les mêmes raccourcis ou les mêmes versions d’applications. Avant l’achat, il faut tester les outils utilisés chaque semaine, pas seulement vérifier le nombre de fenêtres affichables.

    Trois vérifications avant de commander

    1. Vérifiez le pack. Le clavier est proposé en accessoire. Comparez les offres avec les mêmes éléments, notamment le clavier et le stylet.
    2. Testez vos applications. Ouvrez vos outils de rédaction, de navigation et de gestion des fichiers. Vérifiez aussi le fonctionnement de la souris et des raccourcis.
    3. Évaluez le transport. Comparez le poids de la tablette seule, 537 g, avec celui de l’ensemble clavier compris, environ 800 g.

    Pour la lecture, la vidéo, la navigation, la prise de notes et la bureautique légère, la Honor Pad 20 Pro forme un ensemble cohérent. Pour remplacer un portable dans tous les usages, l’absence de pavé tactile et les limites propres aux applications Android imposent davantage de vérifications. Le mode PC améliore la tablette, pas son format.
