Pour rappel, le 22 septembre 2026Motorola a présenté les premières caractéristiques du Signature 27, son nouveau smartphone haut de gamme. Le modèle associe un capteur Sony de 200 mégapixels, un zoom annoncé jusqu’à 100x et un partenariat audio mondial avec Bang & Olufsen.
Motorola vise une sortie aux États-Unis et en Europe en janvier 2027. Le prix n’est pas communiqué.
Un bloc photo asymétrique autour d’un capteur de 200 mégapixels
En apparence, le Signature 27 se distingue par un large îlot photo asymétrique. Quatre modules sont répartis sur deux rangées, dans une composition beaucoup plus visible que le bloc carré du premier Signature.
Le capteur principal annoncé est le Sony LYTIA 901, au format 1/1,12 pouce. Motorola annonce aussi une capture vidéo compatible avec Dolby Vision et un zoom pouvant atteindre 100x. Les fonctions exactes des trois autres modules, leurs focales et leurs définitions restent à préciser.
Le capteur de 200 mégapixels devra passer l’épreuve du logiciel
Le format 1/1,12 pouce est plus grand sur le papier que le capteur ISOCELL HP2 de 1/1,3 pouce associé au Galaxy S26 Ultra. À optique et exposition comparables, une surface plus grande peut recevoir davantage de lumière.
Cette différence théorique ne suffit pas à juger une photo. La qualité finale dépendra aussi de l’optique, du regroupement des pixels, de la mise au point et des algorithmes de traitement.
Les tests devront porter sur les visages en intérieur, les sujets en mouvement, les scènes nocturnes et les transitions entre les quatre modules. Motorola avait déjà utilisé un capteur de 200 mégapixels sur l’Edge 70 Plus. Le traitement d’image du Signature 27 devra donc montrer ce qu’il apporte dans ces situations.
Le logiciel fera la différence.
Bang & Olufsen arrive avec deux haut-parleurs stéréo
Surtout, Motorola inaugure avec ce modèle un partenariat mondial et pluriannuel avec Bang & Olufsen. Le premier Signature était associé à Bose.
Le Signature 27 portera la mention « Audio by Bang & Olufsen ». Motorola annonce un réglage sonore spécifique, des modes dédiés et deux haut-parleurs stéréo placés en haut et en bas du téléphone. Cette disposition vise une restitution plus homogène lorsque l’appareil est tenu horizontalement, notamment pour regarder une vidéo ou jouer.
Le nom Bang & Olufsen ne permet pas encore de juger le rendu. Le volume maximal, les basses, la séparation stéréo et la qualité à faible volume devront être évalués sur un appareil final.
Une coque texturée et deux coloris Pantone
Le dos adopte une texture évoquant le textile ou le cuir végétal. Deux coloris Pantone sont annoncés : Coal Smoke, un gris foncé, et Capulet Olive, un vert olive.
Le module photo et la finition donnent au Signature 27 une identité visuelle plus visible que celle de nombreux téléphones aux dos en verre. Les dimensions et le poids n’ont pas encore été détaillés, ce qui laisse la prise en main et la stabilité sur une table à évaluer.
Le processeur vise le sommet, le logiciel reste conditionnel
À ce stade, le contexte de présentation est déjà révélateur. Motorola a montré le Signature 27 lors du Snapdragon Summit de Qualcomm, organisé le 22 septembre 2026 à Hawaï.
Le téléphone est associé au Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, une puce Qualcomm destinée au haut de gamme. Motorola n’a pas encore détaillé la mémoire, le stockage, l’écran ou la batterie.
Le nom de la puce donne une indication sur le positionnement, pas sur les performances réelles. Aucun résultat de test ne permet encore de mesurer la puissance, le traitement photo ou l’autonomie du Signature 27.
GrapheneOS indique que le successeur du premier Signature serait son premier smartphone Motorola officiellement pris en charge. Si le Signature 27 est bien ce successeur, il pourrait devenir le premier appareil non-Pixel à bénéficier de cette compatibilité officielle. La confidentialité et le contrôle du système dépendront alors des conditions précises de cette prise en charge.
Prix et disponibilité : le morceau manquant
Motorola vise une commercialisation aux États-Unis et en Europe en janvier 2027. Pour la France, les canaux de vente et les variantes disponibles n’ont pas encore été précisés.
Le prix reste inconnu. Sans tarif, impossible de savoir si Motorola cherchera à concurrencer directement les Galaxy S Ultra et les iPhone Pro, ou si le Signature 27 sera placé un cran plus bas malgré son capteur de 200 mégapixels et son partenariat audio.
La fiche complète devra encore préciser les trois autres caméras, la capacité de stockage, la batterie et les conditions exactes de prise en charge de GrapheneOS.
Le verdict attendra janvier 2027.
